Seminar Summary:
"Love seems to be elusive and fleeting. We meet someone, go on that exhilarating first date, then never hear from them again. Sometimes love is like waiting at baggage claim hoping to spot your luggage. You wait and wait; while others grab their bags and head out. What's going on? Why is it seemingly so hard? Take it from a guy who didn't get married until he was 37, the game of love isn't always fun. But God has a vision for love and marriage. At this workshop, we will discover the Biblical model of love and marriage. Once we know the model, we can then change our approach. This workshop is for those seriously looking for love but tired of the game."
Speaker BIO: While working at the bookstore and the investment firm, Pastor Linh volunteered at the Vietnamese Tin Lanh Church in Seattle. He comes from a Christian household and grew up in the faith. He worked in youth ministry as well as camp ministries. The church went through a split and Pastor Linh helped plant another Vietnamese church. At the time, the church did not have a pastor so Pastor Linh decided to attend some seminary courses just to receive more knowledge. It was during his time at Fuller Theological Seminary that he felt God's calling to the ministry. He left his job in finance to become the church's English Ministry Pastor.
Pastor Linh is married to Elise Tran. They have two children, Xander and Aryanna. They currently live in Murphy, TX where Pastor Linh serves as the English Ministry Pastor at Vietnamese Faith Baptist Church in Dallas.
